TIMELINE:
- June 5th - 16th - Creative Media Project PART 1 - 10 classes worth of time/effort
- June 19-21 PART 2 Presentation of Learning : add work to portfolio, write ups, etc - 3 classes worth of time/effort
- June 21-27 (2 classes plus one double block) : approximately 5 minute presentations per student

Part 1 - Project 80% 10 classes worth of time and effort - Creative pieces to show your learning
It is wide-open, totally flexible for you. Ask yourself:
Your final project should show your learning from this course including:
Part 2 - Presentation of Learning 20% - about 1-2 classes + Share your learning (specific timeslot during double blocks)

PROJECT PROPOSAL / 10 marks - In Class -Before you start: complete the project proposal sheet,
- discuss with Mrs. M and have it signed by Mrs. M /10marks
Part 1 - Project 80% 10 classes worth of time and effort - Creative pieces to show your learning
- Take about 10 classes to create work that shows your BEST WORK.
- How many pieces of work you make/ provide depends on how long each one takes.
- Unless you’re doing a project that takes a lot of skill, time, and effort, You will be creating a multiple pieces of work.
- Complete tracking sheet daily: be specific
It is wide-open, totally flexible for you. Ask yourself:
- What do I excel at?
- What projects have I achieved excellent results in?
- What have I really enjoyed creating in this course?
Your final project should show your learning from this course including:
- Design and Composition
- Technical Skills
- Creativity
Part 2 - Presentation of Learning 20% - about 1-2 classes + Share your learning (specific timeslot during double blocks)
Presentation of Learning
- On your portfolio website, or if you didn't make a portfolio you can use google slides .
- post your final project piece(s) and/or previous work, depending on how many pieces you made for your final project. Total of 3 pieces added.
- These can all be added to one post or separate.
- For each piece, add a clear image, of project and layers and give each a title.
- Write briefly about each of the pieces of work, describing your process and choices for each piece - 150-200 words (about ⅓ of a page). Ideas:
- Describe what you did, learned (tools, concepts), if there is a story behind your piece and your design choices.
- Discuss if you would make any changes or improvements.
- Consider following when writing about your piece:
- Design and Composition
- Technical Skills
- Creativity
- post your final project piece(s) and/or previous work, depending on how many pieces you made for your final project. Total of 3 pieces added.
- Share/present your final pieces and your favourite piece made this semester. Max time 5 minutes.
- (this should all be on your portfolio ready to share, have tabs open, etc)).
- Share with Mrs. McClelland and 3 other people that do not sit in your row
